Manager Lookup by ID Policy Type

I'm using this script to lookup Users' managers by managers Employee ID by reading off of attribute "admindiscription". I have used this script in Active Roles server and up on creation of new user, this script works fine. My question is, is this script capable of updating Manager field as well? I would like to know if there is anyway to update Managers' name? Please help.
