We utilize MIIS in our provisioning system and have had the ARS Management Agent installed and running successfully since late spring. Our HR dept decided last month to update our European user names with diacritical marks, and each time the ARS MA runs it throws errors like this one:

Microsoft.MetadirectoryServices.ExtensibleExtensionException: Cannot move object "CN=Ann-Valerie Chatelin,OU=End Users,OU=Users,OU=PS,OU=Offices,DC=morganlewis,DC=net" to
"CN=Ann-Valérie Chatelin,OU=End Users,OU=Users,OU=PS,OU=Offices,DC=morganlewis,DC=net": Administrative Policy returned an error.
The specified object name is already in use. Specify a new one, and then try again.
This appears to be an Active Directory error but I'm unsure ... is anyone else seeing errors with using accents?
thx!
