I'm looking for a way to generate a combo box list based off a CSV, or Database query, but the only thing i'm running into it the Bound List Boxes add-on. This addon doesn't address exactly what I am looking to accomplish, so i'm asking for help here 
Basicall, the company is going to have a central database for global standards and lists managed by HR. i.e, company names, site codes, etc. I want to be able to read this database and to populate a given field with that data in a dropdown for the admins to pick from. Normally I am just using policies to populate this, but the direction is to allow HR to manage things like this in their own database / IAM solution, and for us to pull that data from it.
I know I have to script it, i'm just not finding a good article or idea to point me in the proper direction.
Any ideas or links?
